Andrzej has been part of the animal rights movement for 10 years, working with and co-founding several grassroots organizations in Poland and Germany. While working on major exposés into animal farming in Germany, he acquired experience in the fields of undercover investigations, campaigning and relations with the media. As Coordinator for International Engagement at PETA Germany, his work focuses on fostering the development of animal rights organizations in Eastern Europe as well as supporting campaigns against fur farming in the region. Additionally, he coordinates the Year of Change programme that is aimed at providing structural support to organizations by supplying funds for paid positions.
During his talk Andrzej will speak about what he learned while running campaigns from abroad as well as the role of established organizations in fostering the emergence of an international animal rights movement.
