Charity Entrepreneurship – introducing new animal charities
18 th August
10:00 - 10:45
In her talk, Karolina Sarek will introduce you to Charity Entrepreneurship – a research and training program focused on one of the most impactful career paths you can choose in animal advocacy: founding a new effective charity. Charity Entrepreneurship’s mission is to create multiple high-impact charities through their annual founder incubation program. This year, they researched the most promising charity ideas in animal advocacy. They have invented their own data-based animal welfare evaluation method and determined which animals have the hardest lives and need the most help from the animal advocacy movement.
Charity Entrepreneurship compared several interventions – from pest control to fish feed optimization – and varied approaches i.e. corporate and governmental. As a result, they recommend creating four charities. Karolina will introduce you to the two most-promising, highest-impact animal nonprofits born from Charity Entrepreneurship’s program and to their dedicated founders.
