Good fundraising starts with good financial management. Understanding your organization’s expenses not only helps you answer donor questions and write stronger proposals, it can give you insight into cost-effectiveness of your fundraising strategies. 

Expense tracking is one of the tools organizations can use to measure their impact and make informed plans for the future. It’s especially important in organizations with a very flat hierarchy and a lot of bottom-up processes governing our work.

In my talk I’ll cover the new system of expense tracking we’re rolling out in Anima International. 

How we used to track our expenses, what made us reconsider and what the main advantages of the new system are.
